Southern Exposure New Music -“Forest Unfolding”

Richard Powers, one of the world’s most celebrated novelists and winner of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for The Overstory, will narrate a performance of A Forest Unfolding, a collaborative piece by composers Melinda Wagner, Stephen Jaffe, Eric Moe, and David K. Garner based on his writings. Performers include members of the Ciompi Quartet, flutist Laura Gilbert, baritone Thomas Meglioranza and artists from UofSC’s world-class music faculty.
